Besides when you are with your girlfriend, what other times do you take your ring of? If you even wear one that is.

I took mine off for the first time in 5 years just last week. Mostly because I'm chubbing up and it was cutting off circulation. Got to get the damn thing enlarged

I take mine off when I'm going in the shower/bath - also sometimes for work if I'm going swimming, etc. Don't want to lose it.

I rarely wear mine, other than special occasions. Because of the work i do its advisable to take it off, as my hands are always covered in oil/grease/fertiliser/dirt, so it would just get ruined.

I think it is working like a **** ring for my finger now anyway, it would fall off if I wore it all the time.

If it qualifies since I'm not married I only take my watch off to do sports.

I compared the ring to my watch because just like your rings my watch has both a huge sentimental and real value plus it's fairly old and should last my entire life.

almost never at all...on occassions when i use hair wax/gel, i take the ring off then and wash my hands... putting the ring straight back on afterwards.
my wife takes hers off every night time as the diamond on the engagement ring is a little scratchy and her fingers swell a litle at night.
