Further to my "the Kenwyne prices isn't silly" comment, Watford have stuck a £60m price tag on Marlon King

Good thing I decided to slum it on the sofa rather than go along to the game last night.
We were awful if the reports I heard back from mates is anything to go by.
Oh well, is it too early to say we wanted to concentrate on the league...? |

Awful cup record ever since I could remember. Not too fussed about that. rowlands out best player from what I could tell. Something I think will happen a lot, until someone comes in for him.
See all the Ecclestone/Briatore talk has mysteriously ceased |

And leave us with 2 functional midfielders whilst we're at it...
We all know that cash does all the major talking at our place.
Ecclestone was linked to us on Wednesday and by Friday it had strangely mutated into an Arsenal interest instead...
Hmmm I think I know which one he'll be going for.

If he plays as well as he did a couple of seasons ago, it wouldn't suprise me if a struggling Prem team came in for Martin around Christmas. Clearly our best player on his day now Cook has gone, by a fair distance.
And yeah, the Bernie stuff was just guff. Can't actually see anyone with much sense coming inf ro us. Unless they want to flog the ground.

| Olly already blames us for this seasons "inflated" transfer prices due to the money spent on McAnuff.
I can only imagine his face when he read that |

The team of the week. If Moutaouakil is consistent he should get into the the team of the year, and he'll be worth a few million. Can't believe we only paid £405k for him, potentially quite a bit better than Young (not been tested enough defensively yet), he's a lot better going forward with pace and skill.

Brunt signs for WBA then. A £2.5million deal plus another £500k for add-ons.
So utterly ****ed off at this club now. How we've managed to let our best player go to a divisional rival, in what was supposed to be a 'promotion season' is a disgrace.
Now, just Whelan to leave and we're well and truely in for a tough season

Hasslebaink to Cardiff.
Just hope we can get a target man in before the end of the summer, however if someone told me 5 years ago we'd have Hasslebaink and Fowler up front i'd have laughed
Herman, are you going to the QPR v Cardiff game on saturday?

JFH was awful for us, so slow now, couldn't get into good positions so we rarely saw him shoot. Will be interesting to see how he does.
