Happy enough with a point away at Bristol although we deserved all 3. As Gregory said and the other results prove, playing newly promoted teams on the opening day is bad news as they are still on their promotion high!

How Rowlands didn’t get at least 1 goal is a mystery and they way we dominated the second half, hitting the woodwork several times and controlling the game bodes well for the season. Plus the team spirit in not giving up despite going a goal down in the 90th minute to snatch a point shows the determination of the lads.

Unlucky. Not too disheartened with the defeat as when we dont win on the opening day we tend to have a good season (the 2-1 and 4-1 defeats to Walsall, for example). Plus, it'll take time for the new players to gel.

We were lucky, but dont call us Bristol its Bristol City, I dont want people to get us confused with that joke of a team of the other side of town.
