Well, the optimism of the end to last season is disappearing fast. We still haven't bothered to sign anyone, and Steve Maclean hasn't signed a new deal. At the same time, our imcompetent, idiotic, complete waste of space, lying prat of a chairman is still in charge.
Still, lets keep brandishing around bids for Billy Sharp - I heard Norwich made a £2million bid. Time for us to offer £1million again then.
You guys gonna be chanting "Laws out" after three or four games, then singing his praises again if he wins a few? The turnarond last season was quite startling, even for football fans </BLOCKQUOTE>
He did well after he got over the horrendous January/February period, but he needs to prove himself now. He's got pre-season with us, and he needs to bring in some decent players, which so far, we have brought nobody in, and the players we're linked with are, quite frankly, mid-table mediocrity players.
My stance with the chairman has always been the same. He's a complete ****wit.

Really? Couple of Wednesday fans told me themselves they were chanting it, and they weren't the only ones That's when I really started taking the p*ss, so they stopped admitting things after that.

Odd that I never heard anything like that, and being sat in the area that is most vociferous in the ground as well. When we went through the dreadful patch it was "Allen Out" chants, as was to be expected, but nothing with Laws beyond the odd few as you've stated then.

Oh and not really any news on the transfer front yet. Gary Johnson is working on players, no doubt, but we're told not to expect much news til nearer the start of the season.
We have signed Steven Henderson (Gk) from Villa
