Must be odds-on for a white Christmas in Buxton (where I live btw, Mr. Orange).

I've lived here for five Christmasses and we've had some snow on three of them.

Spoke to my sister this morning and it was snowing quite heavily in Nuneaton last night, apparently about an inch or so, but was near enough gone by morning.

Living where I am about a mile or so from the Thames Estuary in Basildon in Essex we very rarely get much snow, last time we had any snow to talk about was in 1991 and I was still at school at the time, it was in fact so cold the school was shut for two weeks during the snowy spell. iirc it snowed everyday for about a week and the snowed stayed for about three weeks.

Near where I live there is a huge country park with a massive hill, if anyone knows south Essex I'm talking about Langdon Hills and especially One Tree Hill and we used to go sledging on an old car bonnet, and yes it was bloody mental, but good fun nonetheless.

Please snow this Christmas.

All the chippy's around here are pretty bog standard, most of them are of the Fish 'n' Chicken chain which is prevelent around the south Essex area.

Best chips I've ever had were at The Black Country Museum in Dudley.
