i tought it was a pretty strange way to end it at first, but looking back, was pretty clever from chase, if we go back to the first ep of the sixth season when bobby saying about how it all goes blank when your popped, makes you wonder did tony get shot from behind and we were looking at the final moments through his eyes.

the cat bit was a nice touch i tought, paulie getting freaked out by it

and of course phil getting killed, pretty good way to go out of it i tought :thup:

I really really enjoyed last nights, not sure about you guys but I know i thought for a second whats happened to the tv but it was absolute genius.

I've only watched about the last 5 episodes of this series as never really had the inclination to watch it before but will be going back to Series 1 from the start now because of how good it was.

yeah sopranos is brilliant, one of the best shows that came out of the states for sure, your in for a treat watching it from the very beginning.

I've never watched the sopranos but saw the last 10 minutes of the last episode. I'm confused, did he die then?

I assumed it was meant to mean he was dead as that one episode Bobby or Tony say how you don't see it coming and it is probably like going black but by doing it the way they did we will never know. Good way to do it I think.

It's clear to me that it just follows what Bobby said at the start of the series, although like with Life on Mars there's still a little something in me that likes to think there's something else going on.


Not been a fan of the last two series, I really disliked Phil Leotardo as a character, I think it should have ended after the 5th.

Reading Wiki the other day, theres loads of little things that didn't click like Sil murdering Carlos brother which might have caused him to flip, Uncle Pat taking to Tony in the Bing.

The finale airs here tonight. I've greatly enjoyed this season, albeit with some regret as seeing my favourite characters go down (and I could have done without the twist on American History X's infamous scene...).

I suppose it's too much to hope that Ralphie is put back together Cleaver-style and sent on a mission of revenge against the NY crew?

I'm firmly in the 'he didn't die' camp. The last scene just shows life going on with that huge chunk of paranoia and danger unpinning everything.
