I keep getting level 25 and below allies resisting my level 29 freezing traps Such a pain in the arse when you've got a couple on your tail and are running like hell.
I hate PvPing against warriors with my hunter, they just do the charge as soon as they see you and it gives you no time at all to slow them down and get some distance between you.

Hunters can't do hamstring.
You're probably talking about concussive shot, which is our only chance to keep people moving slower than us short of using a frost trap, which I hate using even though I'm survival spec as it then means I'm stuck on a cooldown for when I want to use a freezing trap, which more often than not is when an MS warrior or stealthed rogue runs up and stuns me as I mentally mash scatter shot in a vain and almost inevitably fruitless attempt to break the stunlock. |

Oh dear, I've just renewed my subscription and am currently in the process of reinstalling and updating. Been going for about 6 hours /o\ Figured i'd give TBC a proper go this time.
Now i've just got to decide whether to continue with my 60 lock, 60 Rogue or the 35ish Draenei Warrior I started a while back. Dont think I have the patience to create a new char and go through twatting Wetlands again.
My claim to WoW fame was being in the all-conquering-world-firsting Forte guild on Daggerspine/Kazzak for a couple months before I was kicked for inactivity. Mandatory raid attendance atleast 5 days a week iirc. Hardcore

5 days a week just burns you out. I used to be in a guild like that a few months back when they were just starting kara. They're now in TK and about to progress out of there.
I took a few months off, joined a guild that only raids 3/4 times a week and allows me to balance life and family a hell of a lot better. Makes it a much better experience.

Is it hard to get into a good raiding guild? Is it enough if you are level 70 and not a total ******, or do you need some top end gear?

Depends on how progressed the guild is really - most servers have about 30-40 decentish raiding guilds, so there's always raiding spots around, dependant on class.
Most places will check gear to get an idea of experience, but any guild with half a clue doesn't recruit on gear alone - far too many people get carried through Kara who don't have the ability to match the gear.

Lost touch with the game recently.
Have a lvl70 rogue but was enjoying my priest a lot more in the end, healing in an instance a lot more fun than dps for me.
