Got a new laptop which came with the trial version (or a cutdown version, whatever) of McAfee. Tbh, i'm not a big fan of this system so i'm about to get shot of it and start looking for a new one.
Always, always, ALWAYS go for the free trial of any anti-virus before paying for it. Some can seriously screw with your machine - so better to try it out and make sure it doesn't have any adverse affects before spending hard cash first...

I know, I always do after my zone alarm incident on my last laptop. Basically screwed it up so bad I had to do a full restore.
Probably not helped by the fact I had no idea what I was doing with it.

Yeah, my old man has it on his PC and has no problems with it, he swears by it.
Think I just tinkered with it too muc and decided it was the systems fault, not mine
