Default Matt Smith and ITV Sport

Is there anything worse than this load of ****? I turn on a bit of darts for the first time as I've spent the last few days with the missus, and what do I find? Absolutely shambolic coverage, fronted by a man who knows about as much about darts as he does about football - **** all.

And to top it off they've given the crowd bits of plastic card they can write on and wave hilariously in the background. What marketing ****** came up with the tripe?

I thought watching the football and boxing on ITV was cringeworthy, but I just can't get my head around this. Utter utter rubbish.

The crowd always have the bits of paper to be fair, it's not just ITV, they've copied it straight from the hugely successful SkySports forumla.

The cards - blame Barry Hearn.

The presenter - blame the parents.

The Darts - watch the competition on BBC instead.

Don't mind Matt Smith either tbf (though he's clueless here), he was really good on The Premiership on Monday back in the day.

Nah, the PDC players and the Sky competitions are so superior that it isn't funny.

Matt Smith was the only thing halfway decent about ITV's football coverage... I could never understand why the BBC didn't pick him up for one of their shows. Got to be better than Stubbs.

The BBC used to have him for the snooker after David Vine left. Smith and Dougie Donnelly :*)

I have no idea how you can say that, but each to their own. I think something about him just REALLY annoys me. It's like Arnold Rimmer from Red Dwarf has become a sports presenter, when I see him all I can think is SMEG!

The coverage could be as dire as it wants to be and I'd watch the PDC tournaments. And besides, the BBC's coverage is rubbish too.
