I've done a load of formula to minus one cell from another i.e. =A1-A2

Now in another cell, say A3 the answer is shown. What i want to do now is delete cells A1 and A2 but keep the number in A3.

how?

Select A3, copy it, then go file-paste special, then choose values (or numbers etc).

if you copy the values you want to keep and then right click on an empty cell and click 'paste special' you can choose to only paste the values and ignore the formuli. there might be an easier way of doing it but that's one approach.

afaik i know you can't without typing the answer over the top of it so it;'s not a formula, i may be wrong though.
