| Whs. Being around most drunk people when I'm completely sober really ****es me off. There's only a select few that don't become irritating.

Have had alcohol-free good nights before, but they usually need other people to at least be a bit drunk, as most people need drink to be cool I guess.

Either everyone does, or everyone doesn't IMO.

At the moment I've stopped going out as much so when I do go out, maybe once or twice a month I enjoy having a few drinks.

question could be:
do you need to go out to have a good time when you have alcohol?
the answer is no. Drank a bottle of JD on my own on saturday, had a great night.

Until recently I would say I couldnt but i've started to not bother drinking on some nights. There are a couple of places in town where you really do need to be hammered to have a good time though.

| That was the weird thing on Sat night, everyone else was rather drunk. i was totally sober but was still laughing at stupid things and didnt feel out of place. Didnt think it would have been like that, but now realised i can be sober and not feel like the odd one out </BLOCKQUOTE>
I guess it also depends on who you're with. If my friends get way over the edge then I'd feel out place and my nights out are usually pretty long and wild so everyone ends up in that state.
Good for you if you though if you can enjoy the night anyway

Yeah deffo. Went to Mr Scruff in Preston on Friday and didnt drink a drop because i was driving. Had a cracking night though.
These days i drink much less than i ever did. Sometimes if i just go to the pub i'll drink coke, even though i've walked there.

You don't have to, but it helps.
Although I will say being the only person not drinking isn't much fun
