Putting Ketchup on a steak ruins a steak, anybody with even a minute level of actual knowledge of food will tell you the same thing. Therefore, i'll gladly advocate them being prevented from having it. If they want to put sauce on Steak, then they should buy steak burgers from the frozen food section of the supermarket.

Of course food should be enjoyed but i fail to see how do something to a food that ruins any flavour that it should exhibit could result in somebody genuinely enjoying it.

my old housemate used to do that. He used to treat himself to a really nice bit of steak every once in a while and then i would watch in horror as he cremated it so it was cooked thouroughly all the way through so there was no juices left in the middle.
