Has anybody else heard about this game? I just happened across a preview of this on a BBC page when reading a review of Stewart Lee's stand up show.

Seems its an MMORPG sports game. You can build your characters skills up and play various different sports, you can play both individual and team sports with the team sports requiring you to get enough people together to want to play.

How utterly utterly odd. It's out next year apparently.

The title makes it sound like it should be an old spectrum game that just required you to press buttons really quickly

Watch your avatar run on a treadmill or punch a bag? Wtf the point in that? Do loads of training so he can beat some chick with an afro in 1 on 1 basketball?

Tennis and basketball will probably be buggy and stupid beyond belief.

I just have no faith in this being done right. Great idea, just can't see it being brilliant.

Hopefully the game will rely on the skill of the player as well as his characters stats.

If its just a click and watch thing I wouldn't be as bothered, but if you actually had to master the individual sports it would be superb.
