Take a look at some screenshots of the basketball Looks stupid. Some random jumping 20ft in the air. I bet months in the "gym" did that

Why ludicrous? FM do it every year and they've been going since 1990 and the latest model since 2003? You're back to CM01/02 aren't ya? More than likely it will be buggy tbh.

But as i've said, I HOPE THEY PULL IT OFF.

Having opinions on other games based on FM is far dafter than claiming a game you've just read a preview on will be "buggy and stupid" really. Just found it a silly comment really as it has absolutely no foundation.

It has a foundation in that every newly developed game in the history of video gaming is bugged, especially games that are complex. Just a fact, really. But when I think about it, it is so common that I don't know why we even bother getting caught up about them. Unless they are "showstoppers" ofc.

As for stupid, i'm basing my opinion on the screenshots I linked to where people are jumping twice as high as NBA stars, and the graphics don't look too brilliant. But that unrealistic gameplay might be right up a lot of people's alley, just possibly not mine, and once again I must stress that what I write is my opinion and not a universal definition.

Well I'd disagree fundamentally with your first sentence, but I'm just giving up as I'm off out and really cba when I come back. Glad I've found someone who makes my pessimism with gaming seem small though. Incredible.

This could either be very awesome or very awful, don't see it hitting in between, games like this are generally either great or dire.

It's an interesting idea and could be very entertaining as long as it has loads of sports and does them all properly.

Trouble is, I don't see it having anywhere near as good a football game as PES or even FIFA but it could easily come up with a top tennis game or Golf for example.

Meh, we'll see what happens.

I think the point is its not supposed to be a rival to PES/FIFA etc.

Its going to be similar to World of Warcraft just with a sporting theme.

I think you and I just don't have the same perception of what a bug is, and what they mean to the user, which is also highly subjective.

Glad you stayed on for the ride though.
