right, in order to get some enjoyment out of tonight's fixture i feel a few drinks are required .

Put all 22 player names in a hat, pick one out at random, every time he touches the ball, 2 fingers of your pint or whatever... if he makes a foul something else, if he scores - neck a pint or whatever etc etc.

Did it for United vs Boro a couple of seasons ago and even if you get the right back or someone, you end up pretty mullered.

a foul/goal/yellow/other reasonably exciting thing = shot/shooter.
tv close ups = 2/3 fingers.

we did it for liverpool - milan when liverpool won on pens. was a good night but some people we absolutely battered.

just make some rules and stick to them.

the plan is to pretty much have a basic background of rules like pago and pickles have suggested, but we're looking for some amusing rules, like a shot for every time you see mclaren grin etc. etc.
