depends on the situation i would like to think i would but realistically if there was quite a lot of them and only me it would be a tough decision but if i had a couple of mates with me i wouldnt hesitate

I wouldnt stand up to yobs if they were merely attacking my possesions as they can be replaced, if however they were beating the crap out of someone I cared about i'd have a go.

I'd probably first off try shouting at my very loudest possible, something like RAPE!

just to get everyones attention and hopefully send the yobs fleeing.

Probably wouldn't intervene though, like to think I would try though if someone's life was at steak. If it was a girl they were doing it too, I'd be more inclined to intervene, no not because I'd be looking for a shag but because, without trying to sound sexist, they are more likely unable to defend themselves in that situation.

Although obviously in this case a 47 year old man was unable to.

People like this deserve the death sentence tbh. I;m not going to get into a whole should hanging be brougt back debate and tbh I'd most likely be against it, but my feeling at the moment towards the lads who did this are that it would serve them right if they were all put in a room alone with their hans tied while a hefty bloke kicks them continuously square in the face and see if they like it.

Then they will feel the same pain they put this man through and see how amusing they find it.

Sorry for this rant but such vile people really annoy me.

like others have said depends on the situation really, if i saw something like that (i.e. a guy having the **** beaten out of him) then i'm pretty sure i'd instinctively have to try help him no way i could just walk away or ignore it
