Just because the opening poster has made a fool of himself, you don't have to join in.

Yeah our defence is ****, but at least they're performing to their potential.
Btw, Fletcher? He's without doubt the worst member of our first choice midfield. Brown, Bazzaned and Hartley are all miles ahead of him. I'm not quite sure how he such an average player gets a game for Scotland, never mind Man U.
Anyway Gordon's good but not the second coming really. The Flying Pig (that's Goram for English people) and possibly Leighton were both better keepers.
Better than Rab Douglas mind you

im not gloating merely stating an opinion.
i remember shilton, best ever in world, clemence, close to shilts, woods, immense, seaman, presence, made blunders.
its just that, why are you not blaming your goalis for qualification? we know where we went wrong.
love delia for that phrase.
The whole team have been utter mince throughout qualification. it would be unfair to just pick on the keepers.

Goram for Rangers perhaps, but certainly not for Scotland. Leighton was a good GK, but was always prone to some mistake that would be costly
potentially Craig is world-class, he's above average at the moment - has the presence, has the ability, has the shot-stopping, can be a bit dodgy on crosses but mostly seems to deal with it and he's only 24 - lots of time to bring out that potential  although I only reckon that could happen with a bigger team than Sunderland in the Premiership or in a different league
