The Beatles (1968)
The Smiths (1986)
The Velvet Underground (1968)
The Beach Boys (1966 but with Brian re-added)
Elvis Presley (1969)
Bob Dylan (1965)
T. Rex (1972)
Queen (1984)
Creedence Clearwater Revival (1970)
The B-52's (1979)
Television (1978)
AC/DC (with both Bon Scott and Brian Johnson, before one died and the other lost his voice)
Bobby Darin (1964)
David Bowie (1973)
Ramones (1978)
Those would be my first choices. Of course, seeing as this music festival is entirely hypothetical, I could have it run for several days and include antother 100 bands that I'd love to see. No idea what feel this festival would have, but with a line-up like that, everyone would come to see it, so musical consistency is not at all important.

Meat Loaf.
Cypress Hill.

As I also posted in the other thread a while ago: Friday
Main Stage
The Wrens - Incredible live and i'd love to see what they'd be like if they were all big and headliners
Arcade Fire - Amazing live act and loads of people onstage is always great
Modest Mouse - Never seen them, would like too.
Ghostface Killah - Amazing rapper, one of my favourite three one of which will appear each day of the weekend
The Go! Team - Great way to start anything, just great fun and Ninja is brilliant to look at onstage
2nd Stage
Outkast - Would be a really fun wacky show i'd imagine
Built to Spill - Carry the Zero live is one of the best things in the world
Frank Turner - Brilliant voice, brilliant songs
Cats and Cats and Cats - Never seen them, would like too
Mono - I'd just like to use the 2nd stage for a bit of self indulgent post-rock where possible really.
Dance tent
Mr Scruff - Would be great to go all night too
Quantic Soul Orchestra - Hopefully it would be sunny so these would be perfect
The Knife - Think they'd be ace live
Hardknox - I just like em is all
65daysofstatic DJ Set - If they did everything like Unreleaed/Unreleasable Volume 2: How I F**ked off all my friends i'd be very happy Saturday
Main Stage
Radiohead - Again i've never seen them and would love too, I reckon Exit Music live would be one of the best things in the world
Sigur Ros - As above minus the exit music bit. Actually probably top of my "need to see" list
Wilco - Just love em
Eminem - 2nd token rapper if I could have him circa Marshall Mathers LP it'd be nice thanks
Kelly Clarkson - Every festival needs a token pop act and she's actually really brilliant, think I might marry her actually.
2nd Stage
Of Montreal - Yet another of my haven't seen but want toos
The Shins - Lovely band
Bright Eyes - I've been slightly disappointed both times i've seen them/him still think if they played my ideal set it'd be amazing though
Guillemots - Great live crazy visual spectacles
Explosions in the Sky - To continue with the 2nd stage post-rock bit
Dance Tent
Prodigy - Yup not seen again, want too
2manydjs - As above
RJD2 - As above
Roni Size - As above
Basement Jaxx - As above Sunday
Main Stage
Muse - Greatest live act on the planet is the greatest way to close the greatest festival on earth
65daysofstatic - As above but with the word second in front of some of the other words
iForward, Russia! - Such a big fan of these, want to see both parts of Fifteen again now I appreciate them more
Method Man - Rounds of the trio
Los Campesinos! - \o/
2nd Stage
The Postal Service - Not sure if this meets the criteria but don't really care
!!! - Great fun live, had the time of my life to them at Benicassim
Biffy Clyro - Just cause they're brilliant, should be further up the bill somewhere but I selfishly want to see them with not many people
Do Make Say Think - Post-rock bit again
Russian Circles - As above
Dance Tent
Pendulum - Incredible live, my best dancey act by a mile
Jedi Mind Tricks - I'd like this to turn into a hip hop tent for the last night Pendulum aside
Kanye West - As above
Lupe Fiasco - As above
Nas - As above

Tony's festival would be stupidly good. Mine would be in a massive big top somewhere, looking something like:
Friday
Muse
The White Stripes
Biffy Clyro
Rival Schools
The Bronx
65daysofstatic
Reuben
!!!
Saturday
Radiohead
The Arcade Fire
Arctic Monkeys
Regina Spektor
Metric
Giant Drag
Frank Turner
Emmy The Great
Sunday
2Many DJs
Rage Against The Machine
Beastie Boys
Daft Punk
Soulwax Nite Versions
LCD Soundsystem
Gallows
Pendulum
Foals
Basically kick things off with some loud stuff on the first day, recovery on the second day, before going absolutely batshit on the Sunday, with 2ManyDJs wrapping things up after Rage finish.

It was cool, I got very very drunk for basically nothing. And we were runners-up in two categories, so that was pretty fun. Gutted I missed Biffy though, sounded incredible - was actually gonna mission it down from Koko to Brixton to try and score a ticket off a tout, but the f**king ceremony over-ran, so nevermind.
