Probably down to Manuel Pelligrini.
Some people missing in the Uruguay squad Gonzalo Vargas, Canobbio, Diogo, DarĂ*o RodrĂ*guez.

Yes, by the way, wasn't there a Spanish team (Leganés?) that had only Argentine players a few years ago?

It didn't work out well though, if I recall correctly.

Villarreal are a good team in a quality league but they don't have the pressures the bigger teams in Spain have and the team tends to be more bonded. This is why I think alot of the south americans flourish when they join them.
Riquelme classic example. All the expectation on him at Barca didn't do any good. Went to Villarreal where the pressure wasn't as much and he got used to the european/spanish way of football.
I'm tired so probably not getting my point across as well as it is in my mind |

| Yeah, i think it was Leganés, this was 2/3 years ago though now? They play in Segunda División B now (same as Real Madrid Castilla).
I think they once had that Nicolás Medina guy (who was at Sunderland once).

The players are close and work very well with Pelligrini (well except Riquelme). It is a good place for South Americans to go since the manager is Chilean, and they have Uruguayans, Argies, Mexicans, etc.

Sevilla is also a very good Euro team for South Americans (especially Brazilians).

Sevilla is good because it has about 10 S.A players in the first team |

Of course it also helps that the football in Spain is technically similar to that on the South American continent. At least in my experience, I stand to be corrected |
