But to be the best it doesn't mean a country or team have to win all games by 3-0.

Winning when it's needed (even if only by 1-0) and avoid losing is good enough.

I'm at a loss for words.

If you're happy with the game against Colombia then you've already admitted that Brazil isn't very good and needs to grind out results. If you think that Brazil has good players, then you should demand a little more from Dunga's boys (and from Dunga himself).

I am neither happy nor unhappy, but the 0-0 was a useful result for us. It was an away game against a decent opponent. If we keep drawing away games and if we win the home ones, we will qualify which is our objective here.

The WC Quals are tough (more than Copa América), and there are going to be much harder games than the Colombian one.

Of course I know we will have to play a lot better in the WC if we want to win it, but we are not in 2010 yet and we have plenty of time to improve and I am sure we will.

I just think that Dunga is a gutless and unimaginative manager who prefers to play boring, defensive football than try to find a way to bring out the best of his talented offensive players. I think that he's really just a continuation of Parreira in this sense, although Dunga is at least more willing than Parreira to look at all the players available to him. Brazil deserves much, much better.

There are some tactical problems with how Dunga's Brazil play, like the full backs lack of attacking effectiveness and the poor connection between the midfielders and forwards. If he improves these things, I am sure we will be able to play a more attacking football.

And of course we also need a good striker upfront.

The first part strikes me as unlikely. The second part is true, but also more of an excuse than a problem.

The second part is irrelevant if the other part I said (the poor midfield - forwards connection) isn't improved.
