Dunga called the same players that played against USA and Mexico, and pretty much the same players that played Copa América.
Afonso played a cup game recently (for Heerenveen's reserve team), but I am not sure if he has played any league games so far. </BLOCKQUOTE>
Afonso played last wednesday with Heerenveen reserves against PSV for the Ducth cup (2nd round). And he might play on sunday with Heerenveen against Feyenoord.
So it seems he's back at least until the winter break.

But Dunga does seem to ignore many players from Brazil even when they play well (like Rogério Ceni and probably others).
Souza dissing Afonso there | Name me a single striker that is better than Vágner Love, and plays in the Brazilian League. Even Afonso would be unrivalled in Brazil.
I expect you to understand that the likes of Obina ( ), Alecsandro and Kléber aren't even to be considered national team material, ever.

How did the fans react to him accusing the club of "slavery" towards him? Or it was only the Brazilian media wording it differently to sell more newspapers?

Kun Aguero seems to develop well, scored 4 in 5 so far. Is this his first A-cap for Argentina?
Concerning Brazilian squad: I told you crap like Doni,Vagner Love, Craptista and Alfonso would keep getting called up. Especially that Alfonso twat. He refused to return to Heerenveen, and hasn't played a game all season.

| Yes, I think. He has only played in youth teams so far, U20 etc etc. He is fb though.
Argies lack of a 'target' upfront could be a problem for them though.

But he is Obina, so he should be called up anyway. |

I remember watching Sergio Agüero playing for Independiente when he was only 16 and you could tell how good he was then.
But why did Atlético buy 90% of him, instead of just all of him? If that is true.
