I thought this might be a serious, kind-hearted thread. Well I'm going to post as if it is one anyway. I've nothing against Steve McLaren at all, don't mind the man, and don't think he's a terrible manager. He certainly tried his best and I do feel sorry for him reading the articles about his sacking and seeing how upset he looks. 'Being appointed England coach was the proudest day of my life', he said. So yeah, I'm sure he'll get his career back on track and end up as a decent manager at Premiership level again. The people I'm angry at are the FA for appointing him and the public for wanting someone English.

You wouldn't catch me going 'mclaren just **** off and die you ginger tw*t ' in match threads. Heh I'll get off my high horse now.

Yeah, I find it hard to have any bile for the guy. After seeing fat england supporting scum hurling abuse at the guy from the stands during the Andorra game and after he cracked in front of the press and stormed out crying I couldn't hate him. He'd been promoted beyond his station, no shame in that. Apart from the people who picked him ofc.

Surely should be a Paul Robinson appreciation thread now.... </BLOCKQUOTE>

Carson is in no way to blame for last night ffs. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Well I'd put him to blame for one of the goals tbh.

Wayne Bridge for second goal.

Last goal was McClaren's tactic to sit back and invite the Croatians to shoot.

So I'd say he is a little too blame.
