Default Underfloor heating

I'm getting new tiles for the bathroom floor.
I thought that I might get underfloor heating. Not a wet heating system, but just using a electric system.

It is a luxury I may not use, but its cheap and may enhance the attraction of the house when it comes to sell.

It seems simple enough. Anyone got experience of doing this?

My parents have it for the whole house. It obviously takes longer to heat up a cold room, but when it is heaten, it lasts. Also lovely to walk in your bare feet.

I think my mother once said that it's ideal for people with good routine and can programme the heating around their schedule.

My folks had it when they moved in here. It used to fill with water, so that every now and then you just heard a big "bloop".

In the end they replaced it with rads.

The mains, or just mains socket so we can feed off the circuit? For bathrooms it has to be controlled from outside the room.

DVI Mat looks pretty cool. They have something similiar in Topps Tiles.
