Default Unreal Tournament 3 beta demo (PC)
As a massive fan of UT2004 i have found out the beta demo of UT3 has been released. Thought it may interest people here.

Unreal Tournament III (UT3) is a first-person shooter video game and the next installment of the Unreal series after Unreal Tournament 2004. It is being developed by Epic Games, to be published by Midway Games in November 2007 for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, and sometime during 2008 for the Xbox 360. The PlayStation 3 version is likely to be released early in 2008, although the developers are still aiming for a release towards the end of 2007.

The available modes to play are Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Capture the flag.

Nice, probably won't be playable on my laptop though.

Any news on whether we'll be seeing this on Xbox / PS3 networks?

Just had a look and it appears it's just for Windows to try and find any hardware configuration problems to catch before release, fair enough I guess. Might try it out on Monday.

Was also interested to read that they are going to have keyboard and mouse support on PS3 which means I'll actually be able to play it like I used to. I've never adapted well to these type of games using control pads. Awesome! Definitely buying it now.

I'm impressed with the gameplay so far.

Remember to change around with the settings though. It started on 640x480 resolution, lowest detail for everything (Atari-esque graphics) and some dodgy controls.
