Because people can separate club football from international, I love Corluka but Wednesday night i'll be hating him every time he beats Rooney in the air </BLOCKQUOTE>

Would easily beat Rooney in the air on wednesday, i reckon

Come on, get in at 1-0. Let Hiddink say his piece and see how they come out for the 2nd half

I'll put you out of your misery, mate. Rooney's injured for the next month or so.
It'll be two of Crouch, Defoe or Smith.

Looking at the actual makeup of the England squad, there aren't many who I would consider likeable at all. Guess that's more of a justification for not caring rather than being openly anti-England but there you go.
so if the team was full of players you liked you would support england?

also you're claiming to 'not care' about england yet are desperate for russia to win (mon russia ) seems very strange. like i said before you seem to be the type who are doing it for attention rather than have an actual reason to not support england.

It is a strong part of it yeah. I really can't think of many players that I like. Some that I dislike, some that I'm neutral to and then about 3 who I would say that I like.

I dont care if England go through or not as not too bothered with international football although still like watching the big tournaments.
Reasons I wont be bothered if England go out are

Crowd booing the opposite teams national anthem

Win, lose or draw there is mostly trouble where England play

Beat a mediocre side and press build up England as best team in the world but if they lose to the eventual winners of the tournament the press will make out England are one of the worst sides in the world and make fun of the manager.

media and fans think England have a divine right to win the world cup even though countries like Uruguay have won the world cup more often.
No matter who the manager is the same 8 players are picked no matter if they are out of form or not match fit.

I never claimed not to care, I openly admit that I dislike them, you misunderstood that part of my above post.

Attention? Completely wrong, I've given more than enough valid reasons and like I say, I've felt the same for years.
