Anyway someone explain my last post, why is everyone ignoring Macedonia v Croatia, I don't understand why that isn't just as important as the Russia game.
| no, you're right. just that a Macedonia win is much less likely than Russia dropping points in Israel. </BLOCKQUOTE>
England have still got a reasonable chance if Macedonia draw, though. If we beat Croatia by two goals we're through (assuming goal difference is the tie breaker). Chance of Croatia failing to win in Macedonia is not massively less likely than that of Russia failing to beat both Israel and Andorra.
I am right about the macedonia draw thing, yes? </BLOCKQUOTE>
no. Croatia would need to lose. It's my fault - i've done the table wrong in opening post. Croatia are on 26 points, not 25. </BLOCKQUOTE>
ah, right. knew something was up!

Anyone in favour of banning Rob1981 from staring England threads? Not only does he f**k up the op but its far too optimistic for my liking.
Oh and i love the fact we've got a friendly on the friday before - mon the injuries |

Another England thread, another load of people saying they hope we don't qualify. What I don't get, is if you know the content of the thread, why come in anyway?
MON ENGLAND (also Israel....) |

In my heart of hearts i feel we're already out. I do think we'll beat an already qualified Croatia (cant see them failing to do anything other than beat Macedonia) and i dont think i'll bother putting myself through the pain of watching Israel look ok and then ultimately failing to take anything from the Russians.
Yes, Israel do have a good home record and it is a 'difficult place to go' but that is generally when they have something to play for.
Oh well, Summer money-making tour of Asia / South America it is then :/

At least England should hammer Austria in the friendly. I'm going for a 0-0 though.

They dont really bother me any more than the morons that do nothing but slag England off tbh. Nothing really ruins my enjoyment of football.
I think there are more "i hope we lose" fans than there are "10/10 for everyone, best in the world" fans nowadays
