IF we somehow scrape qualification, we'll slip up in the summer and he'll be out soon afterwards imo, especially if coaches of Mourinho's calibre throw their hat into the ring

he's on a four-year contract. unless he resigns, I can't see that he'll leave whether we qualify or not. FA got burnt paying off Sven.

Euro 2000 we went out and Keegan kept his job. It's possible history could repeat itself, especially if we put up a decent showing.

They'd have to sack him surely, would lose a fortune in ticket sales - won't be getting sell out Wembley Stadium games if we've still got the bumbling idiot who ensured we didn't qualify for Euro 2008 in charge.

I certainly won't be renewing my Englandfans+ membership if he is in charge of our bid for 2010, just throwing money down the drain as we wouldn't qualify anyway.
