I have to get a few extractions and a few other things done at the el dentist and since I am a big wuss when it comes to these things. He gave me the option of sedation. But apparently I need to make sure someone is with me.

How long does the sedation effect you for afterwards? Is it just a matter of feeling really groggy afterwards or more severe?

I had an operation at dental hospital that involved a general anaesthetic, went in for op before 10, let me go home at 4.

I felt fine tbh, a little stumbly when I stood up to the loo, but the guy opposite me didn't wake up for ages.

The 'the el dentist'?

Don't be such a woman, drink a bottle of whiskey and let the dentist do his worst.

face it you'll never get over your fear if you always take the easy way out.

I had this before, lasted about an hour or two after. By the time they let you go you'll just be a bit unsteady on your feet but otherwise not too bad.
