I could do with visiting the dentist soon, as I haven't been for a long time. Reasons ? Am a big wuss when it comes to this, and if I hear a dentist's drill it's enough to bring me out in a cold sweat. Must have had a bad experience as a kid.
| I did which included waking up in the middle of a procedure with blood everywhere. Scarred me for life
This appointment is for an hour, he's gonna be yanking on a couple of teeth for a freaking hour?
Surely can't take that long to remove the dirty bastards |

Depends - it can take a while, Gav - I remember from experience ! I also take it that this isn't an NHS dentist that you are going to.

Failing that, there's the Dental Hospital at the Newcastle RVI in case of emergencies. There I'm led to believe, the dental students are allowed to practice on you in return for free treatment. Not sure if that's a good thing. |

Yeah I had the option of the local students... EH NO
iirc correctly it's costing me just over £50 per tooth extracted. It's not that bad I suppose.

Watch Marathon Man beforehand then pretend that you mustn't tell the dentist whether or not it is safe regardless of the pain!

Just checked the treatment plan and it comes in at just over £200. That includes the extractions, Scale and Polish and a filling.
