tbh sedation will help you when he stands on your chest trying to pull that molar out.

You'll be fine Gary.

You'll get sedated with Midazolam, which will last for approx 30 mins. You will still have to have injections for local anaesthesia, but you will relaxed enought that it won't worry you at all.

You are legally bound to be chaperoned whilst being sedated otherwise the dentist will refuse, and that includes at home too afterwards, not just someone to get you home. It's required as certain cases you can get resedated due to the secondary effects of the metabolites.

I would imagine there will be a waiting list, unless you are getting it done privately. Does your own dentist do it or is he referring you? Foresterhill perhaps?

It's a bit late now as the appointment is on Wednesday and as my dentist doesnt do it he has to get another guy to do it from the same practice.

Mind you it's a saving of £150 without the sedation

£150 for sedation ? :o

I could do with visiting the dentist soon, as I haven't been for a long time. Reasons ? Am a big wuss when it comes to this, and if I hear a dentist's drill it's enough to bring me out in a cold sweat. Must have had a bad experience as a kid.
