whats all this backwards step talk? Leicester clearly the bigger club ffs.
whs. WTF are Plymouth ever gonna do? </BLOCKQUOTE>
What are Leicester ever gonna do? the definition of meh tbh
Plymouth have a big catchment area that would mean a massive rise in attendances if they got promotion with all the glory hunters down there turning up to see the big clubs, they could be on par with the Boltons, Portsmouth and Readings of the PL so not much different from Leicester really. Plus he'd be a hero if he got Plymouth promoted and they've got more chance than Leicester this year.

Gutted, I hate Leicester, but love Holloway obviously. So I don't know whether I should start hating Holloway or liking Leicester...
And it's not a backward step, look at Billy Davies. He left Preston, a club in the playoffs, to join Derby who were sitting right near the bottom of the table. Then they get promoted, because they have money; just like Leicester do. Not that Leicester will get promoted, I hope.

Three people saying backwards step?! Is it a joke I'm missing or something? Leicester are a far bigger club than Plymouth. Looked to me like he'd taken Plymouth as far as he could, although it'll be interesting to see how good Holloway is capable of being. I get a feeling that he's a decent championship manager and absolutely nothing more.

I don't think he'll be a yes man. Certainly never was with us. Goes out of his way to get his own players at times (which isn't neccersarily a good thing as his judgement can be iffy). Would be interesting.
As for gggg's comments. Plymouth has potential yes, but Milan has been there with a decent sized club and got them up. He knows what it takes and has the financial backing as well. he's chosen Leicester for a reason, and that's because he thinks he can get them up, and it will be sustainable.
As a manager I'd say the choice between the two clubs is fairly easy at this stage.
