Nope, we need to get a more winning mentality into this nation. yes kids need to enjoy playing the sport but they also need to learn that winning matters. </BLOCKQUOTE>
What utter bull. The only place where they're taught the enjoyment of sport purely and simply and that it's taking part is during Games and PE lessons in School where it SHOULD be the case. Those lessons are for everybody and most aren't actually going to be that good at it, so they should merely be getting taught the enjoyment of a sport along with the basics.
When kids are in the School or Local club Football teams it's all about winning. Getting it forward as quickly as possible and trying to win. That is actually something that is very wrong with Youth Football.
