I went to a KFC once and asked for no ice in my soft drink. The woman behind the counter poured as much drink as there would have been if there were ice. Talk about miserly.

Usually just have ice in drinks purely out of habit, haven't really considered the 'taking up space' angle.
But yeah, free refills definitely the way things should be done.

Ice is great in drinks, can't imagine going out of my way to ask for none.

Stuff like coke is chilled anyway, so the ice isnt going to do much good. By the time it starts to get warm you probably have drunk it

Had a bad/good experience with bottemless drinks in a club last weekend. Bad because I woke up still drunk and cant remember what happened at the club, good because it only cost me a fiver.

Can't stand ice in my drinks. It stays cold enough without it, and it tastes too watery by the end.
