i'd be up for that, if just for getting rooney playing with walcott/gabby etc. richards should be in it too. no reason for them not to, as lnog as they dont clash with club games

Yeah, lets stop younger players who might actually benifit from the experience from playing in it, and make the senior players tired and worn out :thup:
Then the following season we can blame Tevez, Eboue and Torres for the crapness :thup:

The U-21's are supposed to be a feeder side for the full side, not the other way around. All you do is deny some other players experience of international football, all be it at age group level. the young players will gain far more experience by who they're playing against than who they're playing with. Plus it's extra games for players who are most likely to be affected by fatigue. Give them a rest while they've got the chance.
