Bruce making the move for his own security, as would most managers from a club like Brum right now.

its the fault of the current board/owners pretty much entirely. Why anyone would attempt to sell a company to someone who they've clearly done no research on baffles me. Yeung tried to buy Reading - a quick phone call to Madjeski would have told them that this guy doesnt have the money when it counts. My business knowledge isnt great, but the fact that he still doesnt have the £50m needed to buy the club after 4 months should tell them all they need to know.

Still highly amusing though.

and as a result of which, they've ended up in the situation that Rats described above.

They cant actually appoint a new manager until the takeover is sorted one way or the other, and the deadline is Decemeber 23rd - so they're going to be without a manager for a month.
