So, FM2008 just isn't cutting it for me this year at the moment, though I'm sure in 3 patches time it'll be great - the fact that there's only one way to be successful in this game is somewhat irritating and destroys the realism of it - i don't care what people say, it is simply not realistic to say that teams will score 2 or 3 90 minute + goals if you are not using the correct amount of time wasting while playing with a certain amount of width. its just plain wrong.
Anywho, there seems to be a lack of decent PC games which is worrying considering its almost xmas!
I know Crysis is coming out, but games based on graphics as their main selling point are only really for the people who either a) spent £3000 on a computer or b) Completely overclock their machines with the aid of a freezer.
And after that, there is nothing. Hellgate London seems to be a big disappointment, the Witcher looks good but is apparantly plagued by aganizingly long loading times, and then after that, there is nothing.
hmm Crysis is meant to be quite good but as you say not all computers will run it(mine won't). Maybe something like World of Warcraft? Bioshock, Command of Heroes two other random mentions.
Oblivion if you haven't played it. The Witcher doesn't have long loading periods, no idea where you have heard that but it's wrong. Fantastic little game too.
The Witcher is plagued by immaturity more than anything else, IMO. Some versions are censored, as well.
Viva Pinata has just come out on PC (port from XBox), there's Gears of War and Unreal Tournament 3 if you're into shooters, PES 08, Guitar Hero III...
The Beyond the Sword expansion for Civ 4 is quite good, Half Life Episode 2 is great...after that, well, I think there's a remake of Speedball on the way...

The mere inclusion of sex does not make it mature. The handling of it makes it seem like it was written by giggling, horny teenagers. The writing is terrible.
