well i decided to purchase the witcher, with some good look and astute postal office work it will arrive on Saturday...so i'll be playing on Monday no doubt
I can put up with longish loading times, i read that they've already been improved in patches and are still being worked on, and if the game is good enough, as every reviewer seems to say it is, i won't be that put off by them to be honest
Thanks for your suggestions guys. Gonna see if i still have my old CM01/02 disc now! Where did that thread go about the database update for it?

| Ok i am sold
Since you liked The Witcher i trust you this time. I'm gonna get it and i'll play it once i'll finish The Witcher (yeah i am taking my time exploring everything) and Crysis (just want to get that one out of the way).
Have you played many of the recent point and click adventure games? I don't know which to get and which to not get. I heard that Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened is the best SH game since Case of the Serrated Scalpel and that one was brilliant.

| It's not really that off-putting. But what it does do is it will most likely put you off from exploring many of the interiors that have no relevance to the easier to find quests because you can get some quests (and chicks) if you enter random houses.

What a disappointment!
- the very next batch of games released (eg F.E.A.R) was too much for my £150 graphics card.
Hardly any games were joypad compatible including CoD 2 and F.E.A.R.
I could go on and on...
However, the current prices of PS3 and XBox360 mean that I won't be buying a console anytime soon either |
