| Hmm, its in every review i've read about the witcher, but if its not paritularly true then that'll be a game i'll invest in.
I don't really get into FPS's - i seem to get bored very quickly with them.
I would consider playing cm 01/02 again if i could find a recent update, and if there was a way to fix my computer being too fast for it - every time i used to click on the +- buttons it would go up way to fast, and that was 3 computers ago!

Poor Andrzej Sapkowski, Donners obviously not a fan of his work
I'd have said the inclusion of things like sexism, child trafficking, racism and sex (however badly written some of the dialogue is) push The Witcher firmly into a more adult category than almost any other RPG.

It's more the card collecting and the dialogue that I have a problem with, and the latter could just be a bad translation. It's an interesting setting, but I maintain it has an adolescent handling.

Yeah, I'd agree that some of the dialogue is bad, but then that's true for alot of RPG's, even ones made by English speaking studios. You only have to look at Oblivion for examples of this. Dialogue certainly isn't make or break, and as a game The Witcher certainly brings plenty enough to the table to be worth buying.

How is PES08? I've never really been a fan because i just find it annoying how they port it directly from playstation without even bothering to update the controls, makes it far too hard to get used to the controls again when everything is refereed to as X, square, circle or triangle.

Buy a PS2 pad and a converter thing?
08 works with my wired 360 pad fine, and iirc the prompts were all correct. However, game as horrific on PC as it is on PS3 and 360. Unfortunately, while FIFA 08 has improved immensely on next gen, making it the football game of choice, it's still just FIFA 06 with a data update on PC. EA are not developing the match engines for the PC products untill next year. At least as far as NHL and FIFA are concerned.

You want new and quality games?
They don't exist.
Well Portal was fun but it was short. And whatever people say i liked HL2 Episode 2.
If you like point and click adventure games i heard Culpa Innata might be good. I am planning on getting that one.

| Yes it does have long loading periods. Quite long comparing to Crysis for example which loads 3 times faster.
And Bioshock can take Oblivion by the hand and go swim in the shallow water from which they emerged.

Culpa Innata about as close to gaming perfection as point and click adventure games get Slo, unfortunately they are not for everyone. If it's your kind of thing, get it, you won't regret it.
