When I think of this fixture these days I remember the rage on the face of a Newcastle fan when Cisse scored a penner a couple of seasons back. Absolute classic, not sure if I have ever seen someone look so angry before.

haha yeah, that was so so good. Only topped by that Man City woman blubbering and hurling abuse at Joey Barton and Stuart Pearce towards the end of his time in charge.

You are getting him confused with NLB, who so far is conspicuous by his absence from this thread. Where has out mascot gone ?
We are struggling for CB's, with Rozenhal our only fit recognised one. I expect Sam to play Edgar in alongside of him. Although knowing what he's done recently, he'll play Smith at CB. :-/
Either way - can't see anything bar a scouse win tomorrow. </BLOCKQUOTE>
Cacapa?
Where is NLB these days, its not the same without him in a NUFC match thread.

| Imagine how you'd feel if Cisse scored against your team It's the ultimate humiliation.

Just been reading some early team news on NO. Some are suggesting that Beye will play at CB with Rozenhal, with Carr (!) coming in at RB. Also Smith playing at MR is being mooted. :thdn:
If true, a hammering beckons with us looking disjointed, lacking width and therefore struggling to create chances. Why Fat Sam keeps playing Smith at MR when you have a right winger in the squad (Milner) is beyond me.

Loads of defensive injuries for this one, Geremi likely to start at RB with Roz and Beye in the middle, we've generally been awful against Liverpool recently, even the game we won with the Solano penalty we were just plain lucky.
Wouldn't mind if we lost this if we just put in a decent performance, likewise wouldn't mind sneaking some points if we don't play brilliant...just don't play fecking useless and lose please! |

The injury curse seems to be a problem at the club, regardless of who happens to be manager.
