anyone think Duff might be on the bench tomorrow or is it too early?
In other news Terry Mac has been speaking on the liverpool website
Newcastle number two Terry McDermott has put this weekend's rivalry to one side by backing Liverpool to win the league.
In an exclusive hour-long interview to be aired on LFC TV tonight, the Anfield legend insists nothing would give him greater pleasure than his former club winning the Premier League.
He says: "I still keep a close eye on Liverpool. I want Newcastle to win something but, being realistic, at the minute we won't win the league. That will take a bit of time.
"Liverpool, though, do have a chance and nothing would give me greater pleasure than that. I think they have a great chance this year.
"It's been too long. Seventeen years – that's frightening.
"Please God let it be this year – though after we've beaten them this Saturday, obviously."
The interview, which will be shown in full at 8pm this evening, provides an hilarious insight into life at Anfield in the Paisley era, including the story behind those perms.
McDermott, who was the first player to win PFA and football writers' player of the year in the same season, talks openly about the drinking culture of the day and the time he relieved himself on a nurse!

great when he says ' I want Newcastle to win something but, being realistic, at the minute we won't win the league'
No sh*t sherlock, quick ring the fa and give him the england job. We wont win anything with crap coaches like him working with the first team.

You are getting him confused with NLB, who so far is conspicuous by his absence from this thread. Where has out mascot gone ?
We are struggling for CB's, with Rozenhal our only fit recognised one. I expect Sam to play Edgar in alongside of him. Although knowing what he's done recently, he'll play Smith at CB. :-/
Either way - can't see anything bar a scouse win tomorrow.
