The majority of your fans are just sh*t, you think because you have a big stadium that you can fill to capacity you are a massive club but when looking at your squad its full of deficiencies. 13 games is ridiculous to act like you did today. The longer the fans continue to act like that, then you will never progress anywhere at all.
So the fans should never question what they see then ? Yeah we were playing Liverpool today - but it was the lack of tatics, game plan, cohesion and fight today that was the most damning and the buck for that has to stop with the manager. Today wasn't a one off - we showed pretty much of the same in the Portsmouth and Sunderland games. We were lucky to get a point in that game, only due to the mackems not taking their chances.

Fair enough, would have been hard to hit you on the break in the first half as you sat deep and pretty much allowed us to have posession.

the fans can do what they like, but the fans were acting like you were bottom of the league with 5 games to go. you will never get any manager of any class to go there if you act like that after 13 games.

You have to look at the context of the results you've had because, Portsmouth are a better team than you, Liverpool are a better team than you and Sunderland game was away, in a fierce local derby. You have got a relatively poor squad, you may have seen no fight and passion or whatever you want to see but its been 3 games, you are just not that good a side yet and i think allardyce deserves a window or two.

People are concerned with what they are seeing and they have a right to be. They also have the right to question what the manager does. The manager has put himself and the players under pressure, through constant fannying about with the side and baffling tactics. If fans saw a plan, tactics and effort then they wouldn't voice their concern. It's as simple as that.

Right just got back from the match

From the start, why was milner dropped and Smith starts yet again, i think he is 'undropable' under Fat Sam.

Tactics from KO it looked as though we were playing

N'Zogbia Emre Smith Butt but with N'Zogbia playing wide left and the other 3 in the middle with no RM, it took Fat Sam 20 mins to realise he had nobody there, until he contacted Pearson who told smith to go there, even so he kept playing more CM which meant Geremi has to act as RB & RM, which he struggled to cope with.

Gerrards goal was pretty fb tbh, Kuyt's goal was pretty flukey tho it looked as though it actually hit him rather than him hitting it as he pointed to his knee when he celebrated, then Babels goal was also very good.

After the 2nd goal, Sam, Nigel Pearson, Steve Round & Terry Mac were standing in the dugout looking bemused for some reason, they looked like they didnt know what to do. I could see Terry Mac writing stuff down but i think he was most probably organising the christmas party.

Given's save hit the top of his chest but it did look like handball at first but i checked the replay at half time & it was deffo not handball. Torres had a poor game, he should of scored a hatrick & Liverpool should of won 5 or 6-0.

I think the fans did have a right to complain due to the tactics he started with, having 1 winger in N'Zogbia and nobody at RM. Bringing off Emre seemed strange at least he was trying to get the ball and go forawrd with it & make tackles, Barton did nowt when he came on. N'Zogbia didnt have a particularly good game but at least he tried, smith was very poor & should of been subbed for Milner, hence the 'you dont know what your doing' chants afterwards. You know were doomed when we bring on Steve 'The Fat b*stard' Carr, the bloke behind me said he was going to leave if he came on & as soon as he came on said 'see ya later lads'

Some of the liverpool chants were brilliant

Your getting sacked in the morning was good and got clapped.

Allardyce has a fat head caused a few laughs around the ground.

Allardyce for England &

Better off at Bolton

Basically a very poor performance, a masterclass in midfield from Gerrard.

The ref Alan Wiley was shocking, seemed immune from Booking Gerrard for constant dissent yet he booked Butt, seemed to give everything against us and had very large man boobs. At least he wasnt the fattest bloke on the pitch when carr came on.

Liverpool deserved the win and should of got 5 or 6.

Given - 7
Enrique - 5
Beye - 6
Roz - 5
Geremi - 6
N'Zogbia - 6
Butt - 7
Emre - 6.5
Smith - 5
Viduka - 5
Martins - 6

Milner - 6.5
Barton - 5
Carr - n/a

Oh and announcing Smith as MOM was just comical.

I think you are being very generous with some of your ratings there, Michael. For me, only Given, Beye and Enrique put in a reasonable shift today.

Enrique was poor today tbh, he kept giving the ball away, kept the ball too long & got caught with it or got out-muscled off Kuyt. Butt would of been my MOM today, he never stopped running even after 80 mins and were 3-0 down, made some good tackles which we needed especially players with the class of Gerrard & Sissoko, the latter being the tallest bloke on the field & went down like a big girls blouse.

Which ones do you disagree with BG?

All except the 3 I mentioned. Poorer than you have rated them, IMO.

Enrique was terrible today, i thought smith was your best player, and milner did better than anyone else when he came on.
