That seems to be the word on the street - it's all but pending a successful license application

Who do you support btw?

the FAI is a total ****ing shambles of an organisation. I wish Maxi McAllister burnt down their HQ while he was there.

They might just leave it at 10 teams now with Limerick gone instead of getting two new teams?

Naw - heard a piece on RTÉ Radio 1 today that they will be placing an advert in all national newspapers inviting applications for the two spare places.

Wexford are a nailed on cert for one place - just who will be the other?

BTW: Which club do you follow?

Terrible that Limerick haven't been able to get their house in order in time, though when we were there last year they're "stand" consisted of an articulated truck parked beside the ground, with the canvas on one side of it opened so people could sit and watch the game. Embarassing stuff, there's a great picture of it somewhere.

Oh and hurry up new season. Pat Scully to take the Premier Division by storm next year btw.

Yeah they pulled out halway through last season because there was no way they could keep going at the loss they were making. They were never a real club, just one mad entrepeneur thought it'd be a laugh to create a new club in a city with four other top flight teams. Crowds of less than one hundred people thankfully saw their demise.

Paul Keegan (the St Pat's one) and Trevor Molloy are apparently on the verge of signing for Motherwell. God knows why.
