Well one of the Wolves boards reckons we've now had a bid for Eastwood formally accepted. Seems like it is between us and Charlton. Who knows?

I can't see Leicester agreeing to sell Fryatt to one of their major rivals. Even if he isn't their front line striker, he's a useful back up for them.

Glad we finally got him. All this between Eastwood and Sharp is starting to do my head in

Which area shall we strengthen now?

Good. Would have preferred Sharp but he's a good second choice. And confirmation that Moxey hasn't just been eating non-stop whoppers and fries.

Tbf, I'm one of the more pro-Moxey Wolves fans, but even so I do wonder about him at times.

I think last season went quite a long way to improving his reputation among a lot of the fans, but like you I still have my doubts about him

freddy arguably more proven at championship level. i'm happy with him.

as far as moxey hate goes, i find it pathetic. he can only operate within the budget laid down by whoever is putting the money in. over the years, he has secured some excellent deals, both in and out of the club. the 'seats given to the albion' debacle last year was a joke as well. it was on police instruction ffs. ok, maybe could have been communicated better, but it wasn't moxey's decision and the volley of hate directed at him (i'm thinking specifically of the cardiff game i think - which we lost) was entirely to the detriment of the team. just moronic.

I honestly feel sorry for Franky as he scored for fun before he came to us, suppose it didn't help with all the hype Hoddle put on him ie: Last piece of jigsaw comment.

Was he loaned out before or after Mick came to us last pre season? Mick might get the best out of him this season if he gives him a chance.

If Freddy gets the service, which he severely lacked at Southend, he'll score goals for fun for you. He and Kightly will rip up the Championship next year I reckon. This is a big claim but Freddy could become as big an idol at Molineux as Steve Bull, that is if he is consistently scoring goals like he did at Southend. I know we loved him immensely at Roots Hall, especially when he scored "that" goal against Man Utd.

It pains me to think that Steve Tilson let Kightly go on a free initially to Farnborough before he joined Grays. We could have made a killing.

Still good luck to you next year, I'll be looking out for your results.

Oh and if you are out on the roads of Wolverhampton and spot a pony and trap, it's likely to be Freddy
