We playing all the same teams in friendlies or something? We played Hereford and Northampton as well and also sent out an almost 'second' team to Hereford |

Not on their wages, on over £25k a week between them!
Yeah we went on a tour of 2 games
We are actually 2nd and 3rd favourites to win the league with nothing between us. I personally hope we both go up but if Albion don't then I hope you crash and burn as well, no offence!

Yeah, I meant they shouldn't retire because of their wages. I wouldn't retire if they were them
If Hartson did retire AND kept those wages imagine how fat he would get!

3-2 defeat against reading in our final friendly. sounds like we played quite well. goals from olofinjana and bothroyd, who was immediately substituted for apparently making gestures at the bench. well done twatface.
in other news, matt murray is having investigative surgery on his knee. no doubt he will be out for approximately 2 and half years.
yippee. mon the season |

did you see the comedy mix-up between henessey and ward (I think) for one of the reading goals? showed it briefly on ssn, not sure if they're repeating it
tbf I think hennessey will do ok standing in for murray, gave a good account of himself in the playoffs and for wales so no reason why he shouldn't be able to handle regular first team football until murray gets fit again. bit worried about our level of backup though, ikeme is still a bit of an unknown quantity, and beyond that we've got lumley in the u18s who's supposed to be promising but he hasn't even had any reserve team football as far as I'm aware. we can only hope that hennessey isn't as fragile as murray is...
