oh ffs, I seriously hope mccarthy isn't going down the same road hoddle and jones went down and playing strikers out wide in a shoddy attempt at a 4-3-3. keogh could probably manage it but I'm not sure about the rest

i'd rather we had a bit a flexibility though, as opposed to 4-4-2 in every single game.

well yeah but my point is, keogh aside, I don't think we have the right kind of players to make that kind of 4-3-3 system work to any great effect.

I reckon Bothroyd has the skill to play as a wide striker. We all know he's a great player, so long as he can be arsed.
