Bah. Southend playing silly buggers. We've met their sale price, but they're still trying to get more cash by playing us off against Charlton. Who've already signed 3 strikers ffs. How many do they need? They've still got t'other Bent as well.
Get the blasted deal completed, and boo and hiss to Southend.

See you guys have signed Freddy Eastwood, nice one...gotta be up there wid 1 of the faves to go up next yr. Good luck, but surely signing players like Eastwood isnt really long term planning as if you do go up players such as him would have to be replaced if you wanted to have a good chance of staying up!?

| Why would he need to be replaced? he is only 23 and can improve on his game. Gone are the times we buy overpriced old has beens and in with the young and unproven players who are the future. Mick has done brilliant in the transfer market and i (as well as alot of Wolves fans) have got faith in him.

| If we're to sell our star player we want to gain as much income as possible, so no silly buggers just trying to get the best deal.
Anyway well done for getting Freddy guy is incredible and has alot of loyalty.. Will easily score 20+ for you next year. So confident in that fact I'll lay a £10 bet on him being top goalscorer next season.

I understand you want as much dosh as poss, but if you accept our offer you can't then say "oh but went want another £250k", or whatever. If you think the bid from us isn't enough, then don't accept it. Your chairman appeared to be trying to have his cake and eat it.
Curious, that, for a chairman.
The Doog's funeral at St Peter's today.
I went to St Peter's school, so had to sing a solo there when I was about 12. Oh, the shame.

| Not that though is it, our chairman stated that at that point it was still a two horse race with two bids on the table. Wasn't saying your offer wasn't good enough but that another club had bid for Freddy and you were already declaring him as yours which wasn't the case at the time...
