Alright, I am at the midfield. Let's start with the DMC before hitting AMC and wingers. So, who is the Best defensive midfielder in the world's best league (that being the English Premier League)?
Here is my list:
Best Today: Michael Essien (and Silva)
Most Promising: Owen Hargreaves (I know he is a known quantity, but he just joined the league!)
Most Overrated: Joey Barton or Robbie Savage
Best Ever: Roy Keane (Viera a close second, Essien in there, too)
Best: Essien, Mascherano
Promising: Mikel, Lassana Diarra
Overrated: Erm, does anyone rate Sissoko for him to be overrated?
Best: Makelele at his best was right up there with anyone.
Best: Flamini atm can't do anything wrong he's a machine
Promising: Mikel started off a bit slow but really shown potential recently
Overrated: Gilberto (i know i'll get alot of stick for this but for what he is he is not great, he has a good tackle on him but gives it away alot never rated him really)
Ever: Keane
