It's only cause i class a DMC as being someone who can win the ball and be a playmaker with a good pass, imo for a team challenging for the premiership and champions league he cannot do the latter sufficiently so he is not as good as people make out.

Don't even both doing 'Best EPL AMC' either, as there are hardly any, since it's not a common position in England really.

I don't think he's made out to be anything. In fact, I think he was looked over for a number of years, probably until last season, when people started rightly saying how good he is.
Feel free to have an opinion, unfortunately wrong on this occasion.

Best: Essien (although i'm not sure he really counts as a DMC), Hargreaves, Mascherano
Promising: hard to know whether they count, but Diaby and Denilson both look class.
Overrated: think the Sissoko bandwagon has tailed off now. Lee Cattermole overrated in as much as some people seem to see him as an actual footballer rather than merely a talentless thuggish crybaby.
Underrated: Michael Carrick rarely gets the credit he deserves.
Best: Keane and Vieira definitely the two stand-outs. Paul Ince was very very good before his move to Inter, shame he's a rather sizeable c**t.
