TICKETS for the 2006 Stan James World Matchplay will go on sale at 9am on Tuesday 3 January 2006.
Colin Lloyd will defend his title at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool from 23-29 July 2006, with the prize fund for the event reaching record levels after a massive 25 per cent increase.
The 2006 prize fund has been increased from £120,000 to £150,000, with the winner receiving a £30,000 cheque.
Tickets go on sale from the Winter Gardens box office at 9am on Tuesday 3 January, and ticket prices start at just £10 for one of the biggest occasions in the darts calendar.
Season tickets for the entire tournament cost £100 if purchased prior to 1 February 2006, and £125 thereafter.
The Winter Gardens Box Office will be available on 01253 292029.
