This May or may not work on windows 98,but you can only try:
My computer > C: > Windows > System32 > drivers > etc > Hosts > Add "127.0.0.1 web.sigames.com" to the list

Since I added in that it's been great except for when the patch was due but there was over 1500 people online at the time.
